Spiritual Spring Cleaning-2026

Note: Sermon was delivered in our Fellowship Hall after a Pizza Fellowship; therefore, there is no video. The sermon calls believers to engage in regular spiritual spring cleaning by honestly assessing their condition before God, submitting to His sovereignty, and allowing Him to search and renew their hearts, as modeled in Psalm 139. It emphasizes that true spiritual renewal involves not only confessing and forsaking sin—particularly harmful attitudes like bitterness, anger, and gossip—but also actively replacing them with godly thoughts and speech, as instructed in Ephesians 4 and James 4. The message underscores the necessity of daily renewal through the Word of God and prayer, guarding the mind and heart from worldly influences, and cultivating a life of continual communion with Christ. Ultimately, it calls for a lifestyle of short accounts with God, where believers maintain a clean, obedient walk through consistent dependence on Scripture, the Holy Spirit, and a heart committed to holiness in reverence for God.

Exhortation to Rejoice Evermore

The sermon centers on the biblical imperative to 'rejoice evermore,' emphasizing that true Christian joy is not contingent on favorable circumstances but flows from a deep, abiding relationship with Christ. Drawing from Paul's exhortations in 1 Thessalonians and other New Testament passages, it argues that joy is a fruit of the Spirit, rooted in salvation, divine sovereignty, and the hope of eternal glory. The preacher underscores that joy persists even amid suffering, sin, relational struggles, and persecution, as exemplified by Christ's own endurance for the joy set before Him and the apostles' rejoicing in affliction. Ultimately, the message calls believers to choose joy as an act of faith, trusting that God works all things for good and that the joy of the Lord is not only a present reality but a source of strength and a powerful testimony to the world.

John The Baptist-Pt 2

The Bible Study on John the Baptist as a divinely commissioned prophet whose ministry was defined by uncompromising calls to repentance and preparation for the imminent arrival of the Messiah. Drawing from key passages in John, Mark, and Matthew, it emphasizes his desert setting, ascetic lifestyle, and prophetic identity as the fulfillment of Old Testament promises, particularly those of Malachi and Isaiah. His preaching, marked by vivid imagery and stark warnings, distinguished between genuine repentance and religious hypocrisy, while consistently directing attention away from himself and toward Christ as the true light, the Lamb of God, and the one who would baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. The sermon highlights John's role as the final prophet of the old covenant, bridging the law and the gospel, and affirms his unique status as greater than any born of woman, yet subordinate to the kingdom of heaven, which surpasses even his ministry. Ultimately, John's life and death underscore the cost of faithful witness and the eternal priority of magnifying Christ, whose coming renders all else secondary.

The Antichrist-Pt 3

The sermon centers on Revelation 13:1–10, unveiling the Antichrist as a satanically empowered world ruler whose rise is marked by a seemingly fatal wound that is miraculously healed, leading the world to worship both him and Satan. Drawing from Daniel's visions of the four beasts and the revived Roman Empire, the message identifies the Antichrist as a political, economic, and military genius who will blaspheme God, persecute believers, and rule for three and a half years during the Great Tribulation. The passage emphasizes that his authority is derived from Satan, yet ultimately granted by God for a divinely appointed time, underscoring divine sovereignty even amid great evil. The text calls believers to vigilance, faithfulness, and evangelism. The tone is urgent and pastoral, urging listeners to respond to Christ now to avoid the coming tribulation.

Exhortation Regarding Revenge

The sermon centers on the biblical command to refrain from repaying evil with evil, as instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:15, calling believers to a radical commitment to justice, mercy, and love that reflects Christ's character. It emphasizes that vengeance belongs to God alone, who exercises it through divine justice, civil authority, and future judgment, while believers are to trust His timing and righteousness. Drawing from Scripture—such as Romans 12, Proverbs 20, and the lives of Joseph, David, and Christ—the message illustrates how forgiving enemies and pursuing good, even toward those who have wronged us, breaks cycles of hatred and opens doors for the gospel. The example of Chris Carrier, who forgave his attacker and led him to Christ, underscores the transformative power of grace. Ultimately, the sermon calls the church to embody Christ's love, not out of weakness, but as a demonstration of spiritual strength rooted in the grace they have received, and invites all to embrace salvation through faith in Christ, who offers mercy instead of deserved judgment.

The Bible Study presents John the Baptist as a divinely appointed forerunner whose life and ministry were prophesied, miraculous, and deeply preparatory for Christ's first coming. Centered on Luke 1, it highlights his birth as a divine answer to prayer, his miraculous conception in old age, and his unique role as a Nazarite filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb, fulfilling Malachi's prophecy of Elijah's return. His austere lifestyle, prophetic witness, and call to repentance—marked by baptism for the remission of sins—were rooted in a life of solitude, self-denial, and spiritual readiness in the wilderness. The sermon emphasizes his identity as a true witness to Christ's light, his preexistence, and his pivotal role in preparing hearts for the Messiah, while also underscoring the contrast between his humble, Spirit-filled life and the religious hypocrisy of his day. Ultimately, John's life exemplifies the necessity of repentance, divine sovereignty, and faithful witness in anticipation of Christ's return.

The sermon presents a comprehensive biblical portrait of the Antichrist as a cunning, eloquent, and globally dominant figure empowered by Satan to deceive the world during the end times. Drawing from Revelation 13 and Daniel 7–11, it emphasizes his intellectual sharpness, persuasive speech, political mastery, and strategic control over finance, military power, and global systems, all culminating in his blasphemous claim to divinity and worship. The Antichrist is depicted not as an autonomous force, but as a vessel through whom Satan operates, with God sovereignly permitting his rise to fulfill divine purposes. Despite his apparent success and widespread adoration, the sermon underscores his ultimate defeat by Christ at the end of the tribulation, affirming God's final victory over evil and calling believers to remain vigilant and faithful in the present age.

Exhortation Regarding Messy People

The sermon, drawn from 1 Thessalonians 5:14, calls the church to a holistic, Christ-centered approach in relating to others by addressing three distinct types of people: the unruly, the feeble-minded, and the weak. It emphasizes that believers are to warn the unruly with gentle admonition rooted in Scripture, not condemnation, reflecting the church's responsibility to restore through love and accountability. The feeble-minded—those discouraged, fearful, or lacking faith—are to be comforted with the Word of God, drawing strength from biblical narratives and promises that affirm divine sovereignty and hope. The weak, whether physically, spiritually, or emotionally, are to be supported through patient, persistent care, mirroring Christ's own compassion and the principle of self-sacrificial love found in Paul's ministry. Ultimately, the exhortation to be patient toward all men reflects God's own longsuffering nature, calling the church to embody grace, endurance, and humility in all relationships, grounded in the transformative power of Christ's presence and sacrifice.

The third part of this Bible Study into the Prophet Malachi, drawn from Malachi 2–4, confronts the spiritual decay of Israel through a series of rhetorical questions that expose the people's hypocrisy, moral failure, and practical atheism. Central themes include the violation of divine covenants—particularly through divorce, intermarriage with idolaters, and neglect of tithes—reflecting a heart that has turned from God despite outward religious observance. The preacher emphasizes God's unwavering holiness, His impending judgment on the wicked, and His faithful remembrance of those who fear Him, culminating in a powerful contrast between the fate of the unrepentant and the blessed hope of the righteous. The message calls for genuine repentance, authentic worship, and readiness for the coming of the Lord, underscoring God's immutability and the urgency of faithful living in anticipation of Christ's return.

The sermon presents a stark theological contrast between Jesus Christ and the Antichrist, emphasizing the latter as the ultimate embodiment of Satan's opposition to God. Drawing from Revelation 13 and other biblical passages, it portrays the Antichrist as a global dictator empowered by Satan, marked by blasphemy, lawlessness, and a counterfeit of Christ's divine mission, while highlighting Christ's humility, truth, and redemptive purpose. The message underscores the spiritual deception of the end times, where the Antichrist's apparent invincibility and widespread worship will be rooted in divine judgment and a strong delusion sent upon those who reject the truth. Ultimately, the sermon calls believers to spiritual readiness, urging urgent evangelism in light of the imminent rapture and the eternal destiny of every soul, as the final triumph of Christ over all evil is assured.

Exhortation Regarding Spiritual Leaders

This sermon, drawn from 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 and reinforced by numerous biblical passages, emphasizes the mutual responsibility between spiritual leaders and the congregation within the body of Christ. It underscores the pastoral duty to labor in the Word, exercise godly authority established by God, and faithfully admonish believers with truth and love, while calling the church to recognize, esteem, and submit to their leaders as stewards of God's flock. The preacher highlights that leadership is not self-asserted but divinely appointed, and that the church's role is to honor its leaders not for personal gain but for their service and faithfulness, fostering peace, unity, and spiritual maturity. Central to this dynamic is the call to pursue holiness, reject envy and strife, and live in the peace that comes from God's Word, which is to be received not as human opinion but as divine revelation. Ultimately, the message calls both leaders and people to accountability before God, urging a life of humility, obedience, and mutual edification in preparation for Christ's return.

This Bible Study, drawn from Malachi 1 and 2, confronts the spiritual decline of Israel's priesthood and people, exposing a worship reduced to empty rituals and compromised offerings. It highlights how the priests, entrusted with representing God's holiness, had desecrated their role by accepting defective sacrifices—blind, lame, and sick animals—thereby profaning God's name and misleading the people. The central message underscores that true worship demands reverence, integrity, and the offering of one's best, not leftovers, as a reflection of genuine love and trust in God. The passage warns that when God's representatives fail to honor Him, His name is dishonored, but it also points to a greater hope: God's glory will ultimately be proclaimed among the Gentiles through pure worship, symbolized by prayers and the living sacrifice of believers. The call is for self-examination, repentance, and a return to faithful service, rooted in the eternal values of obedience, humility, and devotion to God's will.

The Persecution of Israel-Pt 4

Revelation 12 presents a cosmic conflict spanning from heaven to earth, culminating in Satan's definitive defeat and expulsion from heaven, where he had previously held access as the accuser of believers. The chapter reveals that victory over Satan is secured not by human strength but through the blood of the Lamb, the faithful testimony of believers, and their willingness to endure even unto death, demonstrating that spiritual warfare is won by divine power and faith. Though Satan is cast down to earth with great wrath, knowing his time is short, God protects His people Israel through miraculous provision and divine intervention, as seen in the imagery of the woman fleeing to the wilderness with eagle's wings and the earth swallowing the flood meant to destroy her. The ultimate triumph of God's people is assured, as Satan's final defeat is sealed at the end of the millennium when he is cast into the lake of fire, while believers are called to resist him daily through prayer, the Word of God, and reliance on Christ's redemptive power, living in the confidence of eternal victory.

The sermon centers on the imminent return of Christ and the prophetic reality of the Day of the Lord, emphasizing that believers are not to be caught unprepared, as they are children of light and not of darkness. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 5, it explains that while the exact timing of Christ's return remains unknown, the suddenness of His coming—like a thief in the night—will reveal the spiritual blindness of the ungodly, who will face divine judgment during a period of unprecedented darkness, destruction, and despair. The passage underscores that the Day of the Lord, though marked by catastrophic events including the Tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon, is not a time of wrath for believers, who are spared through salvation in Christ and are called to live in readiness, sobriety, and faith. The preacher calls the church to wake from spiritual slumber, to walk in holiness, and to remain vigilant, knowing that Christ's return is both certain and near, urging all to embrace salvation while it is available.

The Prophet Malachi-Pt 1

The Bible Study centers on the Prophet Malachi and his Prophecy, highlighting a spiritual decline in Israel 86 years after the temple's reconstruction, marked by apathy, disillusionment, and a questioning of God's love despite His enduring faithfulness. Through a close examination of Malachi 1:1–5, the message reveals how the people, having grown indifferent to God's promises and delayed fulfillment of messianic hope, began to doubt His affection—evidenced by their rhetorical question, 'Wherein hast thou loved us?'—to which God responds by affirming His sovereign choice of Jacob over Esau, demonstrating His consistent love and justice. The contrast between Israel's restoration and Edom's perpetual desolation serves as a powerful testament to God's covenant faithfulness, challenging the congregation to recognize divine love not in the absence of hardship but in the very preservation and provision He has granted. The preacher underscores that God remains active through His Word and Spirit, calling believers to trust His love amid trials, reject the temptation to question His care, and recommit to faithful obedience rooted in the cross. Ultimately, the message is a pastoral call to rediscover God's enduring love, reject spiritual complacency, and remain vigilant in faith until Christ's return.

The sermon presents the rapture of the church as a profound source of comfort and hope for believers, grounded in Scripture, particularly 1 Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15. It emphasizes that for those in Christ, death is not an end but a transition to immediate presence with the Lord, and the resurrection of the dead in Christ will precede the transformation and catching up of living believers to meet Christ in the air. The message underscores the urgency of personal faith, warning that those not in Christ face eternal separation and the coming tribulation, which will bring unprecedented suffering and judgment. The preacher calls all listeners to examine their spiritual condition, urging unconverted individuals to repent and receive salvation through faith in Christ, while encouraging believers to live with eternal perspective, knowing their true home is with God. The tone is both pastoral and urgent, combining deep comfort with sobering conviction, rooted in the imminent return of Christ and the eternal realities of life and death.

This portion of Zechariah's Prophecy was written after the Temple's reconstruction. In it, he delivers a powerful Messianic vision centered on Israel's future restoration and the dual advents of Christ. It begins with the judgment of Israel's enemies and the prophetic triumphal entry of the Messiah, fulfilled in His first coming, and then turns to the glorious second coming, when He will reign in power and peace, establishing His kingdom from sea to sea. The text emphasizes God's unwavering covenant faithfulness, portraying a future in which Israel will be regathered, cleansed, and spiritually revived, culminating in national repentance and recognition of Christ as the pierced Savior. Through vivid imagery of battle, divine intervention, and the purification of the land, Zechariah reveals that God will defend Jerusalem, destroy her enemies, and bring about a new era of unity, peace, and divine presence. The message is both a call to faithful hope and a promise of ultimate redemption, affirming that God's promises to His people will be fulfilled in full, with Christ as the central figure of both present encouragement and future glory.

Revelation 12 presents a cosmic battle centered on the birth, protection, and ultimate reign of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the man-child born of Israel, who is destined to rule the nations with a rod of iron. The passage traces His redemptive mission from His divine incarnation and miraculous deliverance from Herod's persecution, through His sacrificial death and ascension to the throne of God, to His future return as sovereign King. While His first coming fulfilled prophecy as the suffering Servant, as seen in Isaiah 53, His second coming will fulfill the promise of Psalm 2 and Revelation 19, when He returns in power to defeat His enemies and establish eternal dominion. The text also highlights a future period of tribulation, during which a remnant of Israel will be protected in the wilderness, reflecting God's faithfulness to His covenant people amid global hostility. This unfolding narrative underscores God's sovereign control over history, the certainty of Christ's ultimate victory, and the urgent call for believers to remain vigilant and share the gospel in anticipation of His return.

The sermon centers on the hope and comfort of Christ's imminent return, emphasizing the rapture as a future event in which believers—both the deceased and living—will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, ensuring eternal fellowship with Him. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 4 and supporting passages, it affirms that the church is not destined to endure the tribulation period, as Scripture consistently portrays believers as delivered from God's coming wrath and removed before judgment begins. The argument is grounded in theological consistency: the absence of the church in Revelation 6–18, the imminence of Christ's return, the nature of believers as ambassadors spared from divine judgment, and the necessity of a pre-tribulation rapture to preserve the church's invincibility. The message calls for readiness, urging believers to live with joyful expectation, avoid anxiety over worldly turmoil, and share the gospel with urgency, knowing that salvation is found solely in Christ. Ultimately, the rapture is presented not as a fearful event but as a blessed hope that transforms present life and offers profound comfort in the face of loss and uncertainty.

This Bible Study continues looking at the Prophet Zechariah. It picks up with the sixth vision of the eight that were given to him portraying the final resoration of the nation Israel during the Millennial Reign of Christ. The vision of the flying scroll was a vision of sinners being judged for specifically the sins of stealing and swearing falsely. The seventh vision of the flying basket and the woman is about the wickedness of the nations and how wickedness and sin would be taken away from Israel, and one day they will be removed from the entire earth. The eighth vision of the four chariots shows God's Judgment on the world because they oppressed God's people. Zechariah then gives words of encouragement with regard to the future Messiah who is their King-Priest and will rule not only over His people, but over the entire world. After this, the prophet gave words of contemplation and rebuke regarding their questions related to fasts that they had established. Zechariah then concludes his messages while the Temple was being rebuilt by offering words of blessing, showing that God's purposes for Israel were unchanged! One day Messiah will reign in His earthy Kingdom!

Revelation 12 presents a cosmic battle between the woman representing Israel and the great red dragon symbolizing Satan, who is identified as the ancient serpent, the devil, and the accuser of the brethren. The passage reveals Satan's origin in pride and rebellion, his fall from heaven, and his relentless efforts throughout history to destroy the Messiah by targeting God's people, from the murder of Abel to Herod's slaughter of the innocents. Despite his cunning, power, and deception—evident in his seven heads, ten horns, and role as the prince of this world—he is ultimately defeated by the blood of Christ, the testimony of believers, and their willingness to endure death. The sermon emphasizes that while Satan remains active, seeking to devour the faithful, the victory is already won through Christ's death and resurrection, securing salvation, cleansing, and eternal hope for all who walk in the light.

The sermon centers on the sufficiency of God's grace, emphasizing that His grace is not merely about receiving what we desire, but about receiving what we truly need, as demonstrated in Paul's experience with his 'thorn in the flesh' and God's declaration that 'My grace is sufficient for thee.' Drawing from 1 Peter 5:10 and other Scripture, it unfolds the divine sufficiency of God—whose grace is ample, timely, and perfectly suited to every trial—contrasting human insufficiency in self, others, and worldly resources with God's infinite power, wisdom, and presence. The message affirms that God's grace is uniquely capable of perfecting, establishing, strengthening, and settling believers, grounding their lives in Christ alone, the only unshakable foundation. Ultimately, the sermon calls listeners to trust in God's all-sufficient grace, surrendering to His will and embracing His provision in every season of life.

Five Spiritual Facts

The sermon, rooted in Genesis 3, confronts the pervasive reality of sin, its consequences, and the urgent need for personal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It emphasizes five sobering spiritual truths: humanity's universal condemnation due to Adam's fall, the tragic reality that more people will be lost than saved, the danger of self-deception among those who perform religious acts without genuine repentance, the finality of death and judgment with no second chance, and the critical urgency of responding to God's grace while it is still available. Drawing from Scripture, the message underscores that no religious ritual, moral effort, or good works can substitute for a personal, heart-felt faith in Christ, and it calls both believers and the lost to recognize their spiritual condition, repent, and embrace salvation before it is too late.

The sermon centers on the transformative power of remembering God's redemptive grace, drawing from his personal testimony of how his life was radically changed after a journey of loss, despair, and spiritual awakening. Through a vivid narrative of childhood neglect, grief over a brother's death, and a cross-country bicycle trip that led to a life-altering encounter with Christ, the speaker illustrates how God's mercy breaks through even in the darkest moments. Anchored in Deuteronomy 15:15, the message emphasizes the importance of remembrance of divine deliverance. The preacher calls every believer to embrace their own story of redemption, urging the congregation to share it boldly as a testimony of God's grace, knowing that others are still groping in spiritual darkness and need to hear the good news of salvation. The tone is deeply pastoral, convicting, and hopeful, inviting both the unsaved to respond and the saved to proclaim their faith with courage and joy.

The sermon centers on the transformative power of trusting God's sovereign design in every aspect of life, anchored in Romans 8:28 and reinforced by themes of faith, surrender, gratitude, and perseverance. It calls believers to embrace God as the divine architect of their lives, accepting trials as instruments of spiritual growth and character formation, while emphasizing the necessity of yielding oneself fully to God's will each day. Through vivid illustrations—from personal trials to the life of David Brainerd—the message underscores that true impact comes not from self-preservation but from radical availability, patience, and a heart of thanksgiving. It challenges the congregation to pursue God's approval above human approval, to overcome bitterness with grace, and to remain steadfast in love and service, all while keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus. Ultimately, the sermon invites a renewed commitment to live for God's glory, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in each believer.

The Persecution of Israel-Pt 1

Revelation 12:1–2 presents a heavenly vision of a woman symbolizing Israel, clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and crowned with twelve stars—a direct allusion to Jacob's dream in Genesis 37, where the twelve tribes are represented by the stars. This woman, pregnant and in labor, gives birth to a male child who rules the nations with a rod of iron, unmistakably identifying Him as Christ, whose earthly lineage and redemptive mission originated through Israel. The passage establishes a cosmic conflict between this woman, representing God's chosen people, and the great red dragon, identified as Satan, who seeks to destroy her child and persecute her during the tribulation. The interpretation is grounded in Scripture's own testimony, affirming Israel's unique role as the nation through which God fulfilled His promises, delivered His Word, and brought forth the Messiah, while also foreshadowing the future persecution and divine protection of Israel in the end times. The vision underscores the enduring spiritual battle between God and Satan, rooted in Eden and culminating in Christ's ultimate victory.

The Bible Study presents Zechariah as a prophet of hope and restoration, called to rekindle the spiritual fervor of a post-exilic community struggling with apathy, discouragement, and misplaced priorities. Centered on the vision of the Lord's displeasure with past generations and the urgent call to repentance, the message emphasizes personal responsibility before God and the necessity of returning to Him. Through a series of eight symbolic visions—including the scouts, the four horns, the measuring of Jerusalem, the high priest Joshua, and the golden lampstand—the prophet reveals God's sovereign plan to restore His people, remove idolatry, and establish His reign through divine power, not human strength. The recurring theme that 'not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit' underscores the dependence on God's grace and the sufficiency of the Holy Spirit in advancing His purposes. Ultimately, the study calls the church to renewed faith, repentance, and reliance on God's Spirit, pointing to the ultimate fulfillment of His promises in the millennial kingdom.

The Battle For Captive Souls

The sermon centers on the biblical narrative of Abram's rescue of his nephew Lot from captivity in Genesis 14, using it as a powerful metaphor for the spiritual battle over lost souls. It emphasizes that believers are called to be spiritually separated from the world, prepared through consistent personal and corporate discipleship, and willing to risk everything to engage in the urgent work of evangelism and soul recovery. Drawing from Paul's letters and New Testament teachings, the message underscores that while salvation is secure in Christ, believers can still be spiritually captive through compromise, and the church must actively fight for those ensnared by sin with wisdom, faith, and courage. The preacher calls the congregation to personal responsibility, urging them to prepare, persevere, and engage in the Great Commission not out of obligation, but out of love for Christ and the eternal value of every soul.

The sermon centers on the transformative power of knowing Christ personally, emphasizing that true joy and fulfillment come not from human achievement or religious credentials, but from a deep, experiential relationship with Jesus Christ. Drawing from Philippians 3, it highlights Paul's radical revaluation of his past accomplishments as 'dung' in light of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, who provides divine righteousness through faith alone. The message unfolds Paul's lifelong pursuit of intimacy with Christ, including knowing the power of His resurrection, participating in His sufferings, and being conformed to His death, all in anticipation of the future resurrection of the dead. The preacher calls believers to press forward in faith, leaving behind past failures and successes, embracing daily surrender to Christ, and living with the hope of ultimate transformation, all while remaining vigilant not to grow complacent in their walk with God.

Part 2 of this Bible Study, drawn from the Book of Haggai Chapter 2, presents a powerful call to renewed faithfulness and obedience, centered on the rebuilding of God's temple as a symbol of spiritual renewal. It emphasizes that true worship and service are not measured by outward grandeur but by inward holiness, as the people's efforts were tainted by unrepentant hearts and selfish priorities. Through a series of prophetic messages, the preacher underscores that God's presence and blessing are contingent upon genuine repentance and faithful action, promising that the glory of the latter temple would surpass the former through the coming Messiah. The passage also affirms God's sovereign plan, sealing His promise through Zerubbabel as a chosen vessel in the Davidic line, and applies this to believers today by reminding them of their divine election and the urgency of living in alignment with God's will. Ultimately, the message calls for self-examination, a rejection of complacency, and a confident trust in God's faithfulness to fulfill His redemptive purposes.

This sermon presents a comprehensive spiritual checkup modeled after David's plea in Psalm 139:23–24, calling believers to examine their spiritual health through four key areas: the temperature of their love for Christ and others, the steadiness of their spiritual pulse in service, the balance of their spiritual appetites through consistent engagement with Scripture, and the condition of their mind in terms of peace, contentment, and godly thinking. Rooted in biblical principles—from Christ's command to love one another, to Paul's exhortations on obedience, meditation, and self-denial—the message emphasizes that genuine spiritual vitality requires honest self-assessment, repentance, and a deliberate pursuit of holiness. It warns against complacency, the influence of ungodly companions, and self-reliance, urging believers to embrace godly discipline, rest, and the filling of the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, the sermon calls all to a renewed commitment to Christ, urging both the unconverted to embrace salvation and the saved to grow in grace, truth, and obedience as they enter a new year.

The sermon centers on the profound joy found in a personal, transformative relationship with Christ, rooted not in external achievements or religious credentials but in the 'excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.' Drawing from Paul's testimony in Philippians 3, it contrasts fleeting happiness—dependent on circumstances—with enduring joy, which arises from a deep, abiding trust in Christ's finished work and the assurance of eternal life. The preacher illustrates this through personal grief over his father's death, emphasizing how joy was sustained not by the absence of sorrow but by faith in Christ's victory over death. He warns against 'confidence in the flesh,' exposing the futility of relying on heritage, morality, or religious performance, and instead calls listeners to embrace salvation through faith alone, while pursuing a deeper, experiential knowledge of Christ through obedience, suffering, and reliance on God's presence. Ultimately, true joy is not circumstantial but covenantal—a steadfast rejoicing in Christ, even in the midst of loss, because His grace is sufficient and His promises are unshakable.

The sermon centers on the profound spiritual posture of anticipation, exemplified by Simeon in Luke 2, who lived his life in faithful expectation of the Messiah's arrival, not for personal gain but for the consolation of Israel. Through Simeon's life—marked by righteousness, devotion, receptivity to God's Word, and a reputation grounded in integrity—the preacher illustrates how genuine faith is characterized by longing, obedience, and readiness for Christ's coming. The message draws a parallel between Simeon's historical anticipation of Christ's first advent and the believer's present hope in Christ's imminent return, urging a life of spiritual alertness, moral integrity, and joyful expectation. It emphasizes that true fulfillment is found only in Christ, and that the assurance of salvation is grounded in the fulfilled prophecies of Scripture, calling listeners to live with a heart set on eternity. Ultimately, the sermon calls the church to embody a posture of readiness, not in fear, but in peace and purpose, knowing that Christ's return is both certain and deeply personal.

The Bible Study centers on the prophetic call of Haggai to restore God's priorities in the post-exilic community, confronting their misplaced focus on personal comfort over divine service. Through a powerful rebuke, Haggai exposes how the people's neglect of rebuilding God's temple—despite divine command and promise—had led to spiritual and material barrenness, echoing the covenantal consequences warned in Deuteronomy. Yet the message swiftly shifts from judgment to hope, as God promises His presence, strength, and future glory, assuring that the latter temple would surpass the former in splendor due to His indwelling presence. The preacher emphasizes that true revival begins with realignment of priorities, obedience to God's call, and trust in His sustaining power, culminating in a call to steadfastness and faithfulness in the work of the Lord. The tone is both convicting and comforting, urging the church today to reevaluate its values and embrace the divine mandate with courage and hope.

The sermon centers on the climactic events of Revelation 11–19, highlighting the sounding of the seventh trumpet as the divine announcement of Christ's ultimate victory over evil and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. It emphasizes the contrast between heavenly worship and earthly rebellion, as the resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses provoke awe in heaven and fury on earth, culminating in a great earthquake and the recognition of God's power by some survivors, though not necessarily their salvation. The passage unfolds the transition from divine judgment to divine reign, with the opening of heaven's temple revealing the ark of the covenant and signaling the imminent outpouring of God's wrath through the seven bowls, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies of Christ's millennial reign. The message underscores the urgency of evangelism, the reality of divine judgment, and the hope of Christ's return, calling believers to live in anticipation of His soon coming while faithfully proclaiming the gospel to a world that opposes God.

The sermon centers on the divine mandate for sexual holiness as God's will for believers, rooted in 1 Thessalonians 4:1–12, where Paul calls the church to abound in sanctification—living set apart for God in purity and self-control. It emphasizes that true holiness involves abstaining from all sexual immorality, not merely premarital sex, and requires believers to possess their bodies in sanctification and honor, recognizing their bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. The message underscores that sexual sin is not only a personal failure but a violation of God's design, harming others and defrauding them, and that such actions ultimately despise God, who calls His people to holiness, not uncleanness. The preacher stresses that Christ must be first in every believer's life, with love for others—especially fellow believers—being the defining mark of the Christian, which naturally leads to self-denial, moral integrity, and a life guided by the Spirit rather than the flesh. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a life of intentional obedience to Christ's authority, empowered by the Holy Spirit, where sexual purity is not a burden but a joyful expression of devotion to God.

The Prophet Ezekiel-Pt 3

The prophet Ezekiel was commissioned by God to deliver a dual message of judgment and hope to the exiled people of Judah, calling them to confront their collective and individual sins that led to Babylonian captivity. Through vivid symbolic actions and prophetic declarations, he exposed the spiritual corruption of Jerusalem, affirmed God's holiness, and declared that divine judgment was both inevitable and righteous, aimed at purifying His people and correcting their rebellion. Ezekiel also condemned neighboring nations—including Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, Tyre, Sidon, and Egypt—for their malicious joy in Judah's downfall and their persistent hostility toward God's chosen people, emphasizing that God alone would execute justice and ensure all nations recognize His sovereignty. Yet amid the warnings of doom, Ezekiel proclaimed a future of restoration, promising a new covenant, a renewed heart, a rebuilt temple, and the return of God as king and shepherd to His faithful remnant. Ultimately, his ministry served to dismantle false hopes, restore dependence on God, and prepare the exiles for a future in which God's glory would be fully revealed.

Revelation 11 reveals God's unwavering faithfulness through His witnesses even in the midst of global apostasy and tribulation, emphasizing that divine purpose prevails despite human rebellion. The chapter centers on a future temple in Jerusalem—symbolizing a temporary return to Old Testament worship—while affirming that Christ's once-for-all sacrifice renders such rituals obsolete, highlighting the spiritual reality of believers as God's living temple in the present age. Two prophetic witnesses, empowered by the Holy Spirit and symbolized as olive trees and candlesticks, emerge during the final three-and-a-half years of the tribulation, preaching repentance and the supremacy of Christ, enduring persecution and martyrdom before being resurrected and raptured in a dramatic display of divine vindication. Their resurrection and ascension instill terror in their enemies and confirm God's ultimate triumph over evil, underscoring the eternal truth that no believer's death is outside God's sovereign plan. The passage ultimately exalts Christ's coming, affirms the reality of divine judgment and resurrection, and calls the faithful to steadfast hope amid tribulation.

The sermon centers on the biblical mandate for sexual purity as a vital expression of sanctification, grounded in the believer's position in Christ and the call to conformity with His holiness. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 4, it emphasizes that God's will for every believer is holiness, not uncleanness, and that this divine standard—rooted in Christ's authority and Scripture—is the sole foundation for moral living in a sexually saturated culture. The preacher underscores that while believers are already made holy in Christ, their daily walk must reflect that reality, requiring a deliberate commitment to resist worldly influences and instead be transformed by the renewing of the mind. By appealing to passages from 1 Peter, 2 Peter, Romans, and 2 Corinthians, the message affirms that sanctification is a progressive work of grace, driven by beholding Christ and living in the Spirit. Ultimately, the call is to reject all human or cultural standards in favor of Christ's unchanging Word, so that believers may grow in purity and live in a manner worthy of their calling, pleasing God and reflecting His character.

This Bible Study on Ezekiel's divine call to prophesy to a rebellious people, emphasizing God's command to speak His truth without fear, even when met with rejection. Through vivid imagery—eating a scroll sweet as honey, being made strong, and appointed as a watchman—the message underscores the necessity of internalizing God's Word before proclaiming it, and the solemn responsibility of spiritual warning. The preacher highlights the peril of spiritual complacency, the call to faithful obedience regardless of response, and the divine empowerment available through the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, the passage calls believers to embody courage, humility, and unwavering faithfulness, recognizing that their role is not to secure acceptance but to faithfully deliver God's message, knowing that judgment and mercy are both part of His sovereign plan.

Revelation 10 presents a powerful vision of divine judgment and divine mercy, centered on a mighty angel whose appearance—clothed in a cloud, crowned with a rainbow, and radiating celestial glory—signifies God's sovereign authority over creation. This angel, swearing by the eternal Creator, declares that time will no longer be delayed, marking the imminent fulfillment of God's redemptive plan and the final unfolding of His mystery through the prophets. The prophet John is commanded to consume a little book symbolizing the Word of God—sweet to the believer's soul yet bitter in its prophetic weight, reflecting the dual nature of divine truth: joy in salvation and sorrow over the fate of the lost. This experience compels a prophetic mission to proclaim God's message to all peoples, nations, and rulers, calling believers to live in holy readiness. The passage concludes with a sobering call to vigilance, rooted in God's longsuffering, which is not delay but grace meant to lead sinners to repentance, urging all to grow in grace and prepare for Christ's return, when heaven and earth will be dissolved and a new creation will dawn.

This sermon explores the biblical imperative to please God as a central aspect of the Christian life, rooted in a heart transformed by faith and guided by Scripture. It emphasizes that pleasing God begins with a sincere, inward commitment to His will, cultivated through diligent engagement with the Word, genuine love for Him, and a life lived in obedience from the heart rather than for human approval. The preacher underscores that such a life is motivated by the reality of divine judgment, the depth of God's love, and the desire to abound in grace and good works, all made possible only through faith and the indwelling presence of Christ. By rejecting worldly entanglements, embracing selfless love, and living by faith rather than fleshly impulses, believers reflect Christ's life and fulfill their divine purpose, ultimately finding true abundance in a relationship with God.

The sermon centers on the biblical imperative to give thanks in all circumstances, rooted in the truth that gratitude is not innate but a fruit of the new nature received through faith in Christ. It emphasizes that unthankfulness is a foundational sin, tracing humanity's fall to a failure to glorify and thank God, while highlighting that genuine thankfulness arises only when one recognizes God as the source of every good gift and acknowledges His sovereign ownership as Creator and Redeemer. The message calls believers to cultivate a thankful heart by embracing their new spiritual nature, trusting that God works all things—even trials—for the good of those who love Him, and by reflecting on the immense cost of salvation. Through personal anecdotes, scriptural references, and practical examples, the sermon challenges listeners to move beyond superficial gratitude and instead live in continual, heartfelt thanksgiving, especially in hardship, as a response to God's grace and a hallmark of spiritual maturity.

This Bible Study centers on Ezekiel's divine call to prophesy to a rebellious people in exile, emphasizing God's sovereign presence and judgment amid national apostasy. Through a powerful vision of heavenly beings and a transcendent manifestation of God's glory, Ezekiel is confronted with the majesty and holiness of God, prompting immediate worship and submission. The passage underscores that God's authority extends beyond the Temple and geography, affirming His omnipresence even in captivity. Despite the people's stubbornness and refusal to repent, Ezekiel is commissioned to speak God's message faithfully, not for the response but for the obedience of the messenger. The study draws a parallel between ancient Israel's spiritual hardness and modern churchgoers who remain indifferent to divine conviction, calling for a renewed commitment to faithful proclamation and personal surrender to God's will.

The passage in Revelation 10 presents a powerful interlude within the unfolding judgments of the tribulation, introducing a mighty angel whose appearance and actions underscore divine authority and the imminent fulfillment of God's redemptive plan. Though the angel bears a striking resemblance to Christ's post-resurrection glory in Revelation 1, the text distinguishes him as a created being—another of the same kind, not the Lord—based on linguistic precision, theological distinctions in Hebrews, and the angel's oath to the eternal Creator, which would be self-contradictory if he were Christ. The angel's role in delivering a prophetic message, symbolized by the sweet yet bitter book, signifies the dual nature of divine truth: its delight to the soul and its weight of judgment. This moment serves as a pivotal transition into the final phase of God's judgment, affirming that Christ's ultimate victory and the completion of His mystery are certain, even amid escalating tribulation, and calling believers to faithful proclamation in the face of divine judgment.

How We Ought To Walk

The sermon centers on the Christian call to walk in newness of life, rooted in the believer's identification with Christ's death and resurrection as taught in Romans 6. This new life, marked by a transformed identity and empowered by the Holy Spirit, demands a deliberate departure from the old ways of sin and unrighteousness, as instructed in Ephesians 4, Colossians 3, and other Pauline letters. The believer is exhorted to live with integrity, wisdom, and holiness—walking honestly, worthily, and circumspectly—while actively cultivating virtues such as love, light, faith, and the fruit of the Spirit. The ultimate model for this walk is Christ Himself, whose life and commandments define the path of obedience and growth in grace. The message affirms that this transformation is not achieved by human effort alone but is sustained by grace through faith and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, leading believers toward greater conformity to Christ's image.

This Bible Study centers on the prophet Habakkuk's struggle with divine justice, as he questions God's allowance of evil and His use of the wicked Babylonians to punish Judah. Through a divine response, God affirms His sovereignty, revealing that while evil may flourish temporarily, it is self-destructive and will ultimately be judged in God's perfect timing. The message emphasizes that true righteousness is not found in human strength or material wealth, but in faith—highlighted by the declaration that 'the just shall live by faith'—and warns against idolatry, covetousness, and pride, which lead to downfall. Despite impending judgment and desolation, Habakkuk's response of worship and trust in God's character becomes a model for believers, demonstrating that joy and strength are possible even in the midst of loss, because God remains sovereign, faithful, and ultimately victorious. The passage culminates in a profound declaration of hope: though circumstances may fail, the believer can rejoice in the Lord, who is the source of strength and the ultimate victor over evil.

Revelation 9 reveals the terrifying fifth trumpet judgment, introducing a demonic horde of locust-like creatures released from the bottomless pit under the authority of Abaddon (Apollyon), the destroying angel, symbolizing Satan's unrestrained influence during the Great Tribulation. These creatures, described with vivid, apocalyptic imagery—horses prepared for battle, scorpion-like stings, golden crowns, and iron breastplates—are permitted to torment only those without God's seal for five months, inflicting excruciating pain that drives people to seek death in vain. The passage underscores the depth of human rebellion, as even amid such suffering, the survivors refuse to repent of idolatry, murder, sorcery, fornication, and theft, hardening their hearts against God's mercy. This judgment reflects God's righteous wrath against unrepentant sin, rooted in His long-suffering patience, yet ultimately revealing the final consequences of rejecting Christ. The message calls believers to urgent evangelism, emphasizing that only through faith in Jesus can one escape the coming day of wrath.

Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 3, it emphasizes that Paul's prayers were not passive but fervent, night and day, seeking the spiritual maturity, growing love, and holy perseverance of believers. The preacher underscores that effective prayer is both an attitude and an action—praying intelligently by being informed through missionary reports, news, and personal relationships—while trusting God to work through trials rather than merely remove them. Paul's petitions reveal a deep concern for faith to be perfected, love to abound, and hearts to be established blameless in holiness before God at Christ's return, all pointing to the ultimate hope of Christ's second coming. The message calls the congregation to emulate this prayerful posture, praying not only for personal needs but for the spiritual growth and bold witness of the church, recognizing that prayer is both a privilege and a vital instrument in God's redemptive work.

The Prophet Habakkuk-Pt 1

The Bible Study centers on the prophet Habakkuk, a questioning voice in a time of moral decay and impending judgment, who confronts God with honest doubts about divine justice and silence in the face of widespread wickedness. Through a dialogue between human perplexity and divine sovereignty, Habakkuk's initial lament—why God permits injustice—is met with a startling revelation: God will use the ruthless Babylonians to judge Judah, a response that challenges human understanding but affirms God's ultimate control and purposes. The message underscores that God's ways are higher than human ways, His timing is perfect, and His promises—though delayed—will surely be fulfilled, as seen in the historical fulfillment of prophetic judgment. The Bibel Study emphasizes trust in God's wisdom and justice, even when circumstances defy comprehension, and points to the broader biblical truth that God remains sovereign over all nations and histories. Ultimately, the passage calls believers to persevere in faith, recognizing that God's judgment is both righteous and redemptive, and that His word will never return void.

Responding To Trials

The sermon draws from 1 Thessalonians 3 to emphasize that believers should expect trials as part of their faith journey, not as accidents but as appointed experiences by a loving God for their sanctification and His glory. It affirms that suffering is not a sign of failure but a mark of discipleship, rooted in Christ's own example and confirmed by Scripture, including passages from John, 2 Timothy, and 1 Peter. The central message is that faith, grounded in God's character, Word, purpose, promises, presence, and power, enables believers to stand firm under pressure, even when tempted to doubt, retaliate, or despair. The passage highlights how the Thessalonian believers' steadfast faith brought profound encouragement to Paul, demonstrating that perseverance in trials not only sustains the individual but also strengthens the body of Christ. Ultimately, the sermon calls believers to respond to hardship with trust in God, reliance on community, and a commitment to glorify Him in every circumstance.

The Bible Study centers on the enduring faithfulness of Daniel, illustrating how a life rooted in God produces consistent spiritual fruit across generations and empires. Through a detailed examination of Daniel's life, the preacher highlights twelve enduring qualities—beginning with a divine foundation and manifesting in godly presence, practice, prayer, protection, power, prosperity, and prophesying—each grounded in Scripture and demonstrated amid idolatrous courts and political upheaval. The tone is both pastoral and exhortative, emphasizing that true spiritual endurance is not passive but active, marked by unwavering devotion, integrity, and reliance on God's sovereignty. Daniel's life serves as a model for believers called to remain faithful in a world hostile to godliness, where obedience to God supersedes human law and divine providence ensures lasting impact. The message culminates in a call to emulate Daniel's steadfastness, trusting that God's purposes endure beyond the rise and fall of kingdoms.

7th Seal-The Trumpet Judgments

Revelation 8 reveals a profound moment of divine anticipation as the seventh seal ushers in a solemn silence in heaven, signaling the imminent outpouring of God's judgment through seven trumpet judgments. These judgments—ranging from ecological devastation and cosmic disturbances to the poisoning of water sources and the darkening of celestial bodies—demonstrate God's sovereign response to humanity's persistent rebellion and ingratitude toward His creation. The imagery of incense rising with the prayers of the saints underscores the reality of divine hearing and the longing for justice, while the escalating calamities serve as both warning and testimony to God's power and holiness. Though the judgments are terrifying, they are not arbitrary but rooted in the prophetic witness of Scripture and the moral failure of a world that has rejected God's revelation in nature and grace. The passage calls believers to urgent evangelism, emphasizing that the current era of grace is fleeting and that the time to turn to Christ is now, before the final, irreversible judgments unfold.

This sermon centers on the transformative power of obedience to Christ, illustrated through the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8. It emphasizes that true discipleship begins with the Holy Spirit's leading, as seen in Philip's immediate response to divine direction, despite potential persecution, prejudice, or confusion. The eunuch's journey from reading Isaiah's prophecy to confessing faith in Jesus highlights the necessity of Scripture-centered preaching and the personal, heartfelt belief required for salvation. The sermon underscores that baptism is not a means of salvation but a vital act of obedience and public identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, practiced by immersion as the biblical norm. Ultimately, the message calls believers to examine their own obedience—to the Spirit, to Scripture, and to Christ's commands—so that they may faithfully fulfill the Great Commission and lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

This Bible study centers on the enduring faith of Daniel, whose life exemplifies steadfast commitment to God across decades of political upheaval and personal trial. It highlights four foundational pillars of spiritual endurance: godly purpose, as Daniel deliberately chose to honor God even in captivity; godly purity, demonstrated by his refusal to defile himself with pagan food and drink; godly providence, seen in God's favor and protection through key relationships; and godly provision, evident in divine physical, mental, and spiritual support during crises. The preacher emphasizes that true perseverance is not passive but rooted in intentional alignment with God's will, sustained by trust in His sovereignty, and proven through faithful obedience. Ultimately, Daniel's life serves as a model for believers to remain faithful, purposeful, and dependent on God regardless of shifting circumstances, with the assurance that God remains faithful to those who seek Him.

The Redeemed of the Tribulation

Revelation 7 presents a divine pause in judgment, marking a period of mercy during the Tribulation, as God secures 144,000 Jewish witnesses from the twelve tribes of Israel—each sealed with divine protection—before unleashing final judgments. These witnesses, chosen from Israel's lineage and marked by God's seal, serve as instruments of a final, miraculous evangelistic outpouring, proclaiming the unchanging gospel of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, which remains the only true salvation. Simultaneously, a vast multitude from every nation, having endured great tribulation, stands before God's throne, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and joyfully praising God, symbolizing the ultimate triumph of grace over suffering. Their salvation, achieved not by works but by faith in Christ's atoning sacrifice, reflects the eternal reality that only through the Lamb's blood can sin be washed away and eternal life be secured. The passage underscores the urgency of the gospel, the reality of future persecution, and the believer's calling to boldly proclaim Christ, knowing that true worship arises from a heart transformed by divine grace.

The sermon centers on Satan's persistent efforts to hinder believers from fulfilling God's will, drawing from Paul's experience in 1 Thessalonians 2:18, where he expresses his desire to visit the church but was obstructed by spiritual opposition. The preacher emphasizes that Satan hinders through false doctrine, deceptive teachings, and frustrating circumstances—including health, finances, failure, and even betrayal by loved ones—yet affirms that God permits such trials for spiritual growth and glory. With strong pastoral urgency, the message calls believers to resist by standing firm in the Lord, putting on the full armor of God, and maintaining worship and service despite opposition. The tone is both convicting and comforting, urging vigilance, faithfulness, and a heart focused on Christ above worldly distractions.

This Bible Study centers on Daniel 1, highlighting the captivity of Judah and the selection of Daniel and his companions as elite youths from royal and priestly lines, chosen for their physical perfection, intelligence, and wisdom. Though subjected to a three-year training program in Babylonian culture, including a diet of the king's meat and wine, Daniel and his friends resolve not to defile themselves, reflecting their deep commitment to God's law. Through a ten-day test of abstinence, God miraculously blesses them with superior health and vigor, demonstrating divine favor and confirming their integrity. Their exceptional wisdom and understanding, especially Daniel's gift in visions and dreams, surpass all Babylonian magicians, making them ten times better in every matter of insight, and securing their place in the king's court. The narrative underscores how faithfulness in the midst of cultural assimilation and personal sacrifice leads to divine empowerment and influence, even in hostile environments, while affirming God's sovereignty over history and the destiny of His people.

The sermon unfolds the seven seal judgments of Revelation, focusing on the fifth and sixth seals to reveal the escalating divine judgment during the tribulation period. It emphasizes the martyrdom of believers whose souls are seen under the altar, their cry for justice, and God's direction for them to rest until the full number of martyrs is completed, underscoring the cost of faith in a hostile world. The sixth seal then depicts cosmic upheaval—earthquakes, darkened celestial bodies, and the heavens rolling up—culminating in universal terror among the unrepentant, who acknowledge God's wrath yet refuse to turn from their sin. Drawing from prophetic texts in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Amos, and Zephaniah, the preacher underscores that this day of the LORD is a time of judgment, where pride is humbled and mankind is filled with fear. He underscores that the only hope to escape that time is to be cleansed by the Lamb's blood now. This shows the urgent need for evangelism today to help many be ready for Christ's return.

The sermon centers on the imperative of living a life pleasing to God, grounded in Paul's example of enduring suffering, exercising boldness in gospel proclamation, and exhorting others with integrity, purity, and selfless love. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 2, it emphasizes that true faith—rooted in trust in Christ—enables believers to suffer for righteousness' sake without quitting, to speak boldly without seeking human approval, and to live with moral transparency, rejecting deceit, greed, flattery, and self-glory. The preacher underscores that God is glorified when His people endure hardship, proclaim the gospel with courage, and conduct themselves with honorable motives, all while being open to honest examination and committed to diligent, Christ-centered service. Ultimately, pleasing God is not achieved by human effort alone but by the indwelling life of Christ, who transforms believers into living testimonies of His grace and truth, calling them to walk worthy of the divine calling they have received.

The Bible study traces the spiritual decline of Judah from the reign of Manasseh through the successive kings, highlighting how persistent idolatry, violence, and apostasy provoked God's judgment, culminating in the Babylonian exile. It emphasizes that this judgment was not arbitrary but a fulfillment of divine prophecy, rooted in the sins of Manasseh and the nation's refusal to repent despite repeated warnings through prophets like Isaiah and Jeremiah. The narrative centers on Daniel and his companions as faithful remnant figures who, despite being taken captive and subjected to pagan culture and forced assimilation, remained steadfast in their devotion to God. Their story, introduced in Daniel 1, exemplifies unwavering faithfulness in exile and serves as a powerful testament to God's sovereignty over history and the enduring call to integrity in the midst of moral decay. The Bible study sets the stage for a deeper study of Daniel's life and legacy as a model of faithful witness in a hostile world.

Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

The sermon presents a sobering exposition of Revelation 6:1–8, focusing on the opening of the first four seals and the four horsemen who symbolize escalating divine judgments during the tribulation period. Each horseman—riding a white, red, black, and pale horse—represents a distinct form of judgment: a deceptive, false messianic ruler; widespread war; severe famine; and widespread death, including plagues and violence, all under divine permission. The preacher emphasizes that these judgments are not random but part of God's sovereign plan, revealing the ultimate consequences of human rebellion and the temporary triumph of evil before Christ's final victory. Central to the message is the urgent call to repentance and faith in Christ, as the only refuge from impending wrath, with the warning that no second chances will exist after the rapture. The tone is both pastoral and prophetic, combining theological depth with a heartfelt appeal for evangelism and spiritual readiness.

Believers' Stewardship of the Gospel-Pt 2

The sermon centers on the profound truth that every believer is a steward entrusted with the invaluable gospel of Jesus Christ, a divine responsibility that demands both reverence and active participation. Rooted in 1 Thessalonians 2:4, it emphasizes that the gospel is not merely a message to be received but a sacred trust—of infinite worth, surpassing all worldly possessions, power, popularity, and even human life itself—because it alone offers salvation for eternally valuable souls. The preacher underscores that stewardship implies accountability, ownership by God, and the necessity of faithful action, calling believers to live not to please men but to honor God, to obey the Great Commission, and to order their lives accordingly. Drawing from Scripture, including Mark 8:36–37, Psalm 49:6-8, and Matthew 28:18, the message confronts complacency by illustrating the eternal consequences of neglecting or hiding the gospel, urging each person to examine whether they are a faithful steward who shares the good news or a negligent one who hoards it. Ultimately, the tone is both convicting and hopeful, calling for personal commitment and evangelistic urgency in light of the gospel's unmatched worth.

The Bible Study presents a powerful theological reflection on the prophetic ministry of Jeremiah, emphasizing God's sovereign judgment and enduring faithfulness through a series of symbolic acts. Central to the message is the recurring theme that God uses tangible signs—such as the broken bottle, the basket of figs, the yoke, the purchased field, the burned scroll, the hidden stones, and the book cast into the Euphrates—to convey divine judgment on Judah and surrounding nations for their persistent idolatry and rebellion. Each sign underscores the inevitability of divine justice, the futility of human resistance, and the ultimate triumph of God's Word, which cannot be destroyed despite human attempts to suppress it. The preacher highlights Jeremiah's unwavering faithfulness amid rejection, suffering, and isolation, portraying him as a model of prophetic courage and pastoral love, whose life embodies the tension between divine judgment and redemptive hope. Ultimately, the sermon calls the audience to heed God's Word, repent of false hopes, and trust in His sovereign plan, which includes both judgment on sin and the promise of restoration for those who return to Him.

The sermon centers on Christ's worthiness as the Lamb of God, revealed through John's vision of the heavenly throne room in Revelation 5. It explores the challenge to find one worthy to open a seven-sealed scroll, ultimately demonstrating that only Christ, the Lion of Judah and the slain Lamb, possesses the authority and sacrifice necessary to redeem humanity and reign over creation. Drawing connections to Old Testament prophecies and emphasizing Christ's role as the perfect sin-bearer, the message underscores the importance of recognizing His Lordship and dedicating lives to His service, ultimately celebrating His power, wisdom, strength, and eternal glory.

Christ's Message to the Church in Thyatira-Pt 1

The sermon examines the nature of Christ's messages to the seven churches in Asia Minor, emphasizing that the goal is not exhaustive delivery but rather absorption and effectuation in the listener's life. It explores the expectation that Christ has for believers and churches, highlighting the importance of holiness and being a 'peculiar' people—distinct, acquired, and dedicated to God's purposes. Drawing from passages like Revelation 2, 1 Peter, Ephesians, and Hebrews, the message underscores the necessity of strength, steadfastness, and evangelism, while acknowledging that chastening, though initially painful, ultimately yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness and facilitates conformity to Christ's character.

The Blood of Christ-Pt 2

The sermon explores the concept of propitiation, emphasizing that it's a central theological theme rooted in Old Testament practices like the Day of Atonement and ultimately fulfilled through the sacrifice of Christ. Drawing from passages in Leviticus and Romans, the message clarifies that propitiation signifies not only appeasing God's wrath but also reconciling humanity to Him, a work accomplished solely through faith in Christ's atoning blood. The preacher underscores that while God's grace provides the means of reconciliation, it is through belief in Jesus' sacrifice that individuals can experience forgiveness and be restored to a relationship with God, highlighting the importance of faith as the conduit for divine grace.
